AR-TracingJoy (“TraceJoy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. AR-TracingJoy is an augmented reality (AR) tracing and sketching application designed to help users learn, practice, and enjoy drawing on physical paper.

This Privacy Policy outlines how our iOS application collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile software.

2. Camera & Photo Library Access

Camera Access: AR-TracingJoy requests permission to access your device’s camera solely to render the live AR camera feed overlaid with your selected drawing stencil so you can trace contours onto physical paper.

• Strict Local Processing: Live camera frames are processed strictly in real time in temporary device memory. We do NOT record, transmit, upload, or store your camera feed or video frames on remote servers.
• Photo Library Access: If you choose to import a custom photo to convert it into a tracing stencil, the image is processed and converted locally on your device hardware.

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

AR-TracingJoy displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support free access to drawing stencils and tutorials.

• Identifiers & Technical Data: AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process pseudonymous device identifiers (such as Apple IDFA or IDFV), IP address, and technical diagnostic telemetry for ad delivery, fraud detection, and performance analytics.
• Consent Management (GDPR / EEA / UK / Switzerland): For users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we utilize the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain explicit user consent before personalized ads are served. You can review or adjust your consent choices at any time in the app settings.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (RevenueCat & Apple)

We utilize RevenueCat to manage and validate optional TraceJoy PRO subscriptions.

When you purchase a subscription or restore previous purchases:

• All payment transactions and financial details are processed directly and securely by Apple App Store (StoreKit). We never have access to or store your credit card or financial information.
• Anonymous customer identifiers and encrypted receipt validation data are transmitted securely to RevenueCat to verify active entitlement status.

5. Data Storage & Local Caching

No Registration Required: No user registration, personal account creation, or email login is needed to use AR-TracingJoy.

Local Device Sandbox: Your favorite artworks, drawing history, and downloaded line-art stencils are stored exclusively within your device’s local persistent sandboxed storage. If you delete the application from your device, locally cached data is removed in accordance with iOS operating system policies.

6. Children’s Online Privacy (COPPA & Family Safety)

AR-TracingJoy is intended for general audiences and creative learners of all skill levels.

• Family Content Filtering: We enforce Google AdMob General Audience content filtering (Max Ad Content Rating G).
• No Intentional Collection: We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements to our features or regulatory changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date”.
